Revelation Movement exists to re-establish the cultural authority of VERITAS (Truth) because God has revealed Truth in scripture and God has given man the mind and clues to help us discover what He has concealed. (Proverbs 25:2).

The inspiration for Revelation Movement began in 1995, in the heart of a little-known Indian philosopher, Vishal Mangalwadi. It came as he prayerfully researched a response to an attack on the Bible by one of India’s most prominent and public intellectuals.

Mangalwadi’s initial response to the attack was published in a letter, “The Bible and Civilization in the Second Millennium” included in his book titled, Missionary Conspiracy: Letters to a Postmodern Hindu (1966). The letter presented Vishal’s case for his controversial claim that the Bible was the book that created the modern world, including modern India. His case for Bible’s role in creating modern India was further developed in Mangalwadi’s 1997 book, India: The Grand Experiment.

From 1999-2000, at the turn of the millennium, Vishal and his wife, Ruth, spent a year in the Cambridge University library, researching the Bible’s role in the development of Western culture. Later that year, they were invited to America to make a television series on the Bible as the most influential book of the second millennium AD.

As Vishal began to turn his research findings into lectures, articles, books and social-media presentations, friends and donors were inspired to support the production of that early manuscript and planned documentary series – The Book of the Millennium. Hence, the name of the founding ministry, BOMI (The Book of the Millennium International).

Today, the BOMI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in the State of Minnesota, licensed to function in California as Revelation Movement and overseen by a six-member Board of Governors.

Continuing its work, Revelation Movement now is spawning several Ministry Initiatives around the world. The activity of BOMI, its message and Initiatives, is the subject of this website.
